Updated IRS Payroll Tax Forms

IRS released revised Schedule B and D (Form 941). Revisions were primarily for verbiage issues. The release was too late for 2nd quarter filings and will be used beginning 3rd quarter 2011.

IRS provided a rough draft copy of Form 940 to payroll providers for the Federal Unemployment Tax Act surcharge that expired. The screen shot above shows the key changes to Part 2: Line 7. The form is not ready for general release but rather provided for planning purposes.
