1. Why would I combine user IDs?

If you are using multiple Paycor products you likely have multiple sets of user IDs and passwords (credentials) to remember on a daily basis. To improve your online experience, you can use a simple tool to combine those separate user IDs into a single user ID. That single set of credentials will allow you access to most of your Paycor products.


2. Where do I go to combine my user IDs?

Once you’ve signed into any Paycor product, look for the “Combine IDs” link in your Security Settings. Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to combine your user IDs.


3. While combining my user IDs, I forgot one of the user names needed.

Please contact your Human Resources or Payroll department for assistance.


4. While combining my user IDs, I forgot one of the passwords needed.

Click the Forget Your Password? link on the Sign In page. You will then be prompted to enter both your user name and the email address used for Paycor Online Services. Once you have entered the correct user name and email address you will be asked to answer four security questions to verify your identity. After answering all four security questions correctly, a temporary password will be sent to your email address. Enter your user name and the temporary password on the Sign In page; you will be prompted to immediately change your password.

5. Can I update my email address or security questions while combining my user IDs?

Yes, you will be able to update both your email address and your security questions after choosing to combine your user IDs.


6. After combining my user IDs, will my old credentials still work?

Your old credentials will no longer be needed after combining your user IDs; you will be able to access many of your Paycor products from the single user ID.

If you have credentials for Paycor Time on Demand Manager Self Service, those credentials will continue to work after combining your user IDs if you enter them directly into the Paycor Time on Demand product.


7. How do I know if my user IDs are combined?

Once the combination process is complete, you will receive both a confirmation page and confirmation emails for the changes you made. NOTE: If you ever receive an email confirmation for a change you did not make, please contact your Human Resources department or Paycor specialist immediately.


8. What do I do after my user IDs are combined?

Sign into Paycor Online Services from www.paycor.com with the credentials you selected during the combination process. You will be able to access many of your Paycor products immediately.


9. I’m using a Paycor product that is not listed when trying to combine my user IDs.

You cannot currently combine the credentials for the following Paycor products:

  • Paycor Payroll (locally installed)
  • Paycor Time on Demand Employee Self Service or Kiosk
  • Paycor ReadyClock

10. I’m an administrator for multiple Paycor clients (i.e. multiple FEINs) and am not able to combine all of my user IDs.

If you have separate credentials today for multiple Paycor clients (i.e. multiple FEINs), you cannot combine your user IDs across those clients. Each Paycor HR Performer or Paycor Time on Demand account will still require its own set of credentials.


11. I’m an active employee in multiple Paycor clients (i.e. multiple FEINs) and am not able to combine all of my user IDs.

If you have separate credentials today for multiple Paycor clients (i.e. multiple FEINs), you cannot combine your user IDs across those clients. Each Paycor HR Performer or Paycor Time on Demand account will still require its own set of credentials.


12. I’m a CPA for a Paycor client and also process payroll for that client; I am not able to combine all of my user IDs.

If you have separate credentials today for access Paycor client data as a CPA and for processing payroll for a Paycor client, you cannot combine your user IDs across those clients. You will still need to use separate credentials depending on the actions you are taking.


13. I share my Paycor Payroll Citrix credentials with another user.

You will not be able to combine the Paycor Payroll Citrix credentials if you share these credentials with one or more other users within your organization. Please contact your Paycor specialist for assistance.
