Paycor It Forward Day Benefits More than 20 Organizations

Paycor's second annual Paycor It Forward day took place February 9, 2016. Each of Paycor's sales offices chose an organization, created a Community Partners event, and spent the day volunteering their time and services. These are just some of the organizations we were proud to support:

* Allendale Association (Lake Villa, IL)
* Annie's Angels
* Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland
* Brandon Foundation
* Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh
* Feed My Starving Children
* Gateway 180
* Gillis Center (Kansas City)
* Habitat for Humanity
* The Homeless Families Foundation
* JARC Special Needs House (Livonia, MI)
* Lifeline Animal Project
* Lighthouse Youth Services (Cincinnati, OH)
* Mel Trotter Ministries
* Midwest Food Bank
* Nashville Rescue Mission
* Nemours Childrens' Hospital (Jacksonville, FL)
* Ronald McDonald House
* Second Harvest Food Bank
* The YMCA of Tampa
* The Veterans' Association of Cincinnati

Some awesome stats from the day:

* 263 participants
* 1,000+ hours volunteered
* 11,448 meals will feed 31 children for 1 year in the Philippines
* 200 care packages were given to new patients at the Cincinnati VA
* 14 pallets of food were filled at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte
* Over 30 dogs and cats were given a little TLC
* Over 400 lunches were served to the less fortunate
* Murals were painted for the Keswell School in Boston
* Several hours were spent cleaning and sorting through clothes and food

Sid Taylor, Director at Lighthouse Youth Services' Youth Crisis Center, said of the time Paycor volunteers spent at his facility:

“I wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the volunteers. They were a huge help and we see a difference in the overall appearance of the facility. Please thank them for me and let them know how thrilled I was to walk in here today and instantly see what they’ve done. Our 24/7 model keeps us constantly engaged with managing behaviors and is so busy that we rarely have the needed time to focus solely on cleaning. I am so thrilled in fact, that I’d like to explore the possibly of this as a quarterly (or at least twice per year) event.”

EEO Compliance: Are You Prepared to File the Updated EEO-1 Report?

The clock is ticking: What employers need to know about the latest EEO-1 reporting requirements Earlier this year, a federal judge in Washington D.C. ruled that employers must collect 2018 pay data (also known as Component 2 data) for employees and submit it to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as part of its 2018 EEO-1 reporting, due by September 30, 2019. This Component 2 data was originally set to begin in 2017 but was stayed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) before the data was collected that year. Since the judge’s decision effectively voided the stay since 2017, the Court gave the EEOC the option to choose to collect 2017 and 2018 or 2018 and 2019 pay data. On May 1, 2019, the EEOC announced their decision to...

Paycor Wraps Up 4th Annual Holiday Market

This month, Paycor hosted its 4th annual Holiday Market. Employees, from around Cincinnati, were invited to HQ for an afternoon of shopping, raffle prizes and tasty treats. The initiative for hosting the Holiday Market is simple. Our employees work hard year-round, and during the holiday season we feel as if we should reward their efforts. Not only is the event supposed to give associates a break during their busy day but it encourages departments to spend time with one another. In addition, we live to support our clients and love that we get a chance to showcase a handful of amazing people and local businesses. Some of the clients and local vendors included: City Scape Tiles The Candle Lab Bling Favorites Cincy Shirts Bengals Pro Shop...
