Free Perform Contest Rules
In order to enter the “Free Perform for a Year” contest, you must agree to the rules. The rules consist of the following terms and conditions. Because these rules form a legally binding agreement with respect to this contest, please read them carefully. If you do not agree to the rules, you are not eligible to participate in the contest or to win. You agree that submission of an entry in the contest constitutes your agreement to these rules.
Winner will receive free payroll services only for one year, with such payroll services not to exceed the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). Additional services, such as HR Performer and Time and Attendance, are not included. The winner will be selected on or about July 1, 2013 and notified via telephone and/or email on or about the week of July 8, 2013; provided, however, that these dates are not firm, and Paycor reserves the right to change such dates. Except where prohibited by law, the winner grants to Paycor a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty free license and right to disclose and use the winner’s name, company name, company logo, and business location for purposes of advertising, and the winner agrees that Paycor may release such information to persons requesting the name of the winner of the contest.
No purchase necessary. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States
(and DC) 18 years and older. Void where prohibited. Paycor may
substitute prizes of equal or greater value for stated prizes. Prizes
are not redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for all federal,
state and local taxes and all other costs and expenses not specifically
stated, including but not limited to the cost of any upgrades or
optional services and/or equipment. Paycor may, in its sole discretion,
require the winner to sign a certificate of eligibility and release. By
entering the contest, you agree to waive any right to claim any
ambiguity or error in the rules or the contest itself and agree to be
bound by these rules and by all decisions of Paycor, which are binding
and final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in
disqualification from this contest. In the event of any unanticipated
occurrence that was not fully addressed by the rules, Paycor may modify
the rules to address such occurrence. Any changes to the rules will be
posted on the site.
Paycor is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical or computer failures of any kind, inaccurate transcription of entry information, errors in any promotional or marketing materials, errors in these rules, any human or electronic error, including but not limited to, the administration of this contest, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late or damaged. Paycor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. All decisions by Paycor in conducting any and all aspects of the contest are final and not subject to appeals. Paycor SHALL BEAR NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OR ADMINISTRATION OF ANY CONTEST OR IN ANY OTHER RESPECT IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST. By participating in the contest, each participant agrees to release and hold Paycor and its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and contractors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) in connection with or resulting from participation in the contest and/or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize(s) including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, property damages and any claims by third parties or otherwise based on publicity rights, defamation, copyright trademark, invasion of privacy, or any other violations of law relating to participant’s participation in the contest. Participant acknowledge that Paycor is not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.”
