Update to OSHA 300A Form Regulations
The Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates that all employers who are required to maintain the OSHA 300 Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses post a summary of the previous year’s log between February 1st and April 30th each year, even if no incidents occurred in the preceding calendar year. The summary (OSHA Form 300A) must be certified by a company executive and posted in a conspicuous location where notices to employees are customarily posted.
OSHA has announced adjustments to the non-exempt qualifications for OSHA 300 Log injury reporting. Starting on January 1, 2015, twenty-five new NAICS codes were added to the non-exempt reporting list. Our records indicate that your organization may fall into this new reporting requirement.
Paycor’s HR Application has built in functionality that allows a user to easily track and report for the OSHA 300 Log in accordance with the new regulations. Click here for more information on our HR Application.
