Paycor Breaks Ground for New Headquarters

On December 6, Paycor broke ground for a new headquarters building in Norwood, Ohio.

“Today marks the beginning of a new era for Paycor,” said Bob Coughlin, Paycor CEO. “We’ve broadened our focus from payroll to people management solutions. We’ve doubled our investment in technology. We’ve successfully launched Perform, our new employee administration platform. And now, we are breaking ground for a new headquarters that will play an important role in our success as we continue to fuel the growth of the company.”

Joining Paycor CEO Bob Coughlin at the groundbreaking event was Paycor CFO Steve Haussler, Paycor Senior Vice Present Stacey Browning, Governor of Ohio John Kasich, Norwood Mayor Thomas Williams, President and Chief Investment Officer of Jobs Ohio John Minor and Executive Director of the Cincinnati USA Partnership Denyse Ferguson.

The high-tech, sustainable facility will be home to approximately 500 employees upon completion in spring 2014. The building will include a client training center, café, fitness center, production facility, open floor plan around the perimeter to allow for natural interior lighting, and a “third space” for additional collaborative meetings off the café that opens to the outside. The 135,576 square foot building will have capacity to accommodate up to 750 employees and will welcome more than 1,200 client visitors annually for training on the company’s HR and payroll applications.

“Paycor is a high-growth company with plans to double revenue every three to four years,” said Steve Haussler, Paycor CFO. “That growth translates into new hires and jobs each year. We’ll be hiring IT employees for roles in software as a service, application development and enterprise architecture as well as additional sales, client service and administrative employees.
