Careage of Logansport, Inc. owns two long-term care facilities in north central Indiana that were encumbered with manual, paper-based processes. The centers had separate payrolls that were processed on different weeks, taking almost 2 ½ days to run. Tax filing, employee expenses, and benefits were also done manually. The company’s CFO came from an organization that used a computerized payroll and HR system, and after one look at Careage’s manual practices, made the call to search for an HCM provider.
