Paycor Recognized as a Leading Job Creator in America

Paycor has received a 2013 Inc. Hire Power Award, which recognizes the private businesses that have generated the most jobs in the U.S. within the past year and a half. Paycor was ranked nationally among the top 20 private business job creators in the business services industry, as well as among the top 20 within the state of Ohio.

When Paycor’s Chief Human Resources Officer Karen Crone learned that we had been recognized as a top job creator, she remarked, “We didn’t set out to create jobs. We set out to make clients’ lives easier by providing intuitive, cloud-based HR and payroll software. We’re getting it right and that means rapid growth for our company, our products and our Associates.” She added, “We’re proud to be recognized as a top job creator. It reinforces that we’re making a difference for clients through the talent, effort and know-how of our Associates. We have high standards for hiring, and our Associates set Paycor’s pace.” Learn more about a career at Paycor.

About the Inc. Hire Power Awards

“For the second year in a row, we are pleased to recognize the employers who are putting Americans back to work,” says Eric Schurenberg, Editor-in-Chief of Inc. “The Hire Power Awards are the only awards that single out job creators. We think it’s fitting to pay tribute to company founders not just for their business prowess but also for their immense contribution to the welfare of U.S. workers and the vitality of the U.S. economy.”

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that only 222,000 full-time jobs were added in 2012. Roughly one fourth of these jobs were created by the 437 private companies included in the Hire Power Awards. These small to mid-sized companies and others just like Paycor could hold the key to restoring America’s economy.

While the honorees are found across the country in 25 categories, industries with the most Hire Power companies include health, financial services, software, human resources and IT services. States with the most honorees include California, Florida, Texas, Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and Utah. Learn more about this year's winners.
