Paycor's CrossFloor Shootout Benefits Norwood School District

Every year, Paycor Associates gather for the "CrossFloor Shootout." Taking place around the start of the NCAA March Madness tournament, the CrossFloor Shootout raises money for different causes (through Paycor's Community Partners organization) and provides good times for all the participants.

In the 17th Annual Crossfloor Shootout on Friday, March 11, the 4th floor team (pictured above) solidified their CrossFloor Shootout dynasty by winning their 3rd straight championship. The 4th floor defeated their opponents, the combined team of floors 1, 2, and 3, with a final score of 93-65.

The teams were evenly matched through halftime, but an onslaught of 3 pointers and open layups from the 4th floor were too much for the Orange team in the second half.

Emily, the only woman brave enough to play, proved to be the secret weapon for team 1, 2, 3 (pictured below), keeping the game close with her mid-range jump shot.

Shootout organizer Cory said after the game:

"Thank you to everyone that made this event a success. As a result, we secured $345 to donate to the Norwood School District. Their Athletic Director mentioned they've had a record number of students join the track team this year and this money will help buy the additional uniforms needed."

Norwood Schools also graciously hosted our game. Thanks to Cory and to everyone who played and donated, and thanks to Norwood Schools! Go Indians!
