Second Paycor Client Conference draws 300+
More than 300 clients from across the country traveled to Cincinnati for the second-annual Paycor Client Conference, Friday, May 9. Like the 2007 gathering, Great Wolf Lodge just north of Cincinnati in Mason Ohio was the setting for the 2008 conference.
Attendees chose from an array of sessions covering regulatory issues, software tips, liability, fraud, child support, HR issues, taxes and more. The sessions were approved for continuing education credits from the American Payroll Association.
“2008 was my first time attending Paycor’s User Conference,” said Gail Robbins, Controller and HR Director for Mar-Test, Inc. “I can’t wait to come back next year! With sessions for both the HR and Payroll professional, it was hard to choose which to attend. These were educational and informative and not just sales-oriented which, as a CPP I must say I appreciated very much!”
Paycor New Accounts Manager Amy Lillard said the conference was an amazing experience. “It was like a big family reunion, everyone was so happy to put names and faces together,” she said. “In the Local Tax session that I co-facilitated the group was very interactive and full of questions and well-informed feedback. Many of our clients connected with each other to form their own support groups outside of the classroom.”
Conference keynote speaker Julie Isphording, a former Los Angeles Marathon champion and member of the first Olympic marathon team for women, gave Paycor clients an Olympic-sized portion of motivation and wisdom.
