The Family and Medical Leave Act: An Employee Guide

The Department of Labor recently released The Employee’s Guide to The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The FMLA helps to provide unpaid, job-protected leave when an employee or their family member has a serious health condition that requires time off from work. Time off may be taken all at one time or intermittently, as the medical condition requires. The FMLA helps to ensure that employees are able to take this time off without the risk of losing their job.
