Business leaders are always looking for technological solutions to improve productivity but the experience of the people using the systems is equally important. Poorly suited technology systems can lower staff morale, while the right tools can substantially increase it. In this presentation, we will discuss the impact of technology on staff morale and outline strategies for finding and implementing the right tools for your staff.
Adam Lenter is the founder and Executive Director of Nonprofit Data Solutions. While earning an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MA in Education Leadership from Teachers College, Adam became passionate about the issues of inequity in public education. Upon graduating, he immersed himself in that issue by teaching in New York City Public schools. Following two years of teaching, he consulted to, and worked in leadership positions at several nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students from underserved communities. During this time, he noticed a common trend: organizations did not have the tools they needed to operate efficiently, measure success, and plan strategically the future. So Adam launched Nonprofit Data Solutions in order to provide powerful yet easy to use data management systems to nonprofit organizations. Nonprofit Data Solutions currently provides its systems to organizations throughout the United States and around the world. In addition to leading Nonprofit Data Solutions, Adam teaches nonprofit leadership courses at Hofstra University and computer programming courses at City College in New York.
