Why Paycor Does Quarterly Product Updates

With the recent arrival of Paycor’s Winter Product Update and the year 2013 coming to a close, we want to take a step back to look at the big picture: why do we do quarterly updates in the first place?

At Paycor, we believe great software must adapt to the ever-changing needs of its user community. According to Paycor’s Senior Vice President Mike Gaburo, our clients’ needs are changing as “organizations are looking for ways to improve their people practices.” That’s why we’ve worked with our clients to add over 80 enhancements to our products over the past year.

“We believe it’s extremely important to listen to our clients and to use their ideas and feedback to drive our product innovation,” says Paycor’s Senior Vice President of Client Service Lynn Mangan. Using client suggestions takes the guesswork out of determining what enhancements we will make to our products. It helps us make sure we’re building the features our clients truly want and need.

With this quarter’s update, we’ve added several new enhancements to many of our applications, including Perform, Custom Web Reporting and the HR application. Many of these enhancements came directly from user suggestions, further illustrating that some the most innovative ideas come from our client base.
