Ryan Holland’s to-do list is long enough without having to manage payroll processing. That’s why Holland, who owns two Tim Hortons franchises in the Dayton, Ohio, area, partners with Paycor to handle payroll so he can focus on the bigger picture.

“What I value most is the peace of mind that using Paycor brings with respect to maintaining compliance in all areas of payroll with government agencies and other agencies,” Holland says. “Payroll, workers’ compensation premiums, city taxes—I know the calculations are done accurately and payments are being made at appropriate times.”

Holland had done payroll on his own for a while in an attempt to save money—until he realized the cost of his time was far more valuable. That’s when he connected with a Paycor representative, who helped instigate what Holland describes as a “seamless” implementation process.

Holland says franchisees like him can’t put a price on receiving great customer service and staying compliant with taxes and legislation.

“To me,” he says, “it’s worth every penny.”
