As the Founder and CEO of HR Geckos, Jay Polaki brings 25+ years of global experience leading and transforming HR functions across diverse industries. Jay’s mission is to automate HR processes while keeping the human touch and focusing on what matters most—people. She brings her people-first lens and experiential learning to all her work and regularly contributes to Forbes, HRD, and other global HR publications. Whether she’s swapping HR tech stories with global HR leaders on the HR Bytes podcast or training HR Geckos’ copilot, HRGeckoBot (sometimes with her little nephews!), Jay’s mission is clear: make HR “as agile as a gecko!”

Duane Bray is Groopit’s Chief Product Officer, based in New York. He is passionate about workplace innovation, helping leaders solve complex challenges in today’s environment, and how to align business needs with talent capabilities. He joined Groopit in January 2023 after a 27-year career at the design and innovation firm IDEO, where he was a partner, serving in roles that included the head of their digital capability to their Chief People Officer. His portfolio of work includes consumer software, mobile and online applications, and organizational strategy. As IDEO’s Chief People Officer, his work covered the spectrum from attracting talent to building cultures of learning to establishing best practices around benefits and policies. Duane holds an MFA from the University of Florida and was recently awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award as a prestigious alumnus.
