EEO-1 Report Checklist
Compliance is a hot topic in the world of HR. And among headlines like the #MeToo movement and the rapid increase in I-9 audits is the recent ruling on the EEO-1 Report. What is the report?
Prior to the ruling, the report required employers to categorize company employment data by race, ethnicity, gender and job category. Now, employers will also need to accurately track and report the number of hours employees work, identify their employees’ earnings over a 12-month period and classify employees in one of 12 pay bands.
What does this mean for your organization?
For one, the additional data you’re required to provide is very significant. If your organization is unable to provide compensation, pay bands and hours worked into one report, it will create more administrative work and could result in costly reporting errors. What is the deadline to file the report? How can you prepare for the new regulation?

They are a sign something’s wrong: it could be that an employee has failed to respond to a performance improvement plan or they could just be disengaged. Maximum PTO Accrual Letter
Encouraging employees to use their vacation days can feel strange. After all, nobody wants to leave themselves under-staffed and the rest of their team over-worked. On the other hand, what if employees rarely ever, or even never, take time off? There’s also a risk of schedule chaos down the line as everyone tries to use their days up at once. Most worrying of all is that employees who go too long without a break, even by choice, risk ending up disengaged and burned out. Download Sample Maximum PTO Accrual Letter...
