1. Why am I being asked to transition?
As part of Paycor’s guiding principles, we strive to take care of the client first in all things, including making our products as valuable for you and your employees as possible. With that in mind, over the course of the past year, we have been working diligently with our customers and stakeholders to better understand the points of pain associated with our current benefits administration platform. Through surveys, 1×1 customer meetings, focus groups, and feedback from our implementation and support teams, we identified feature and functionality gaps that needed to be addressed in order to provide a modern, scalable rules-based benefits tool.

As a direct response, we are pleased to announce Benefits Advisor. With this new benefits administration platform, you will see immediate wins with automated workflows and simplifying business processes while reducing benefits spend through actionable insights driven by a robust reporting engine. We hope you leverage this microsite to walk through all of the enhancements you can expect to receive.

2. Will my pricing change?
No. Paycor will waive the standard implementation fee and the same monthly fees per employee will continue to be charged as were previously charged for Perform Benefits and related Carrier Connections.

3. When will I need to upgrade?
Over the next few months, you will be receiving communications from Paycor that will explain the transition process and timing. When thinking about timing, we will be reviewing current Open Enrollment dates and other factors that attempt to mitigate disruption to you and your organization. If you have not received any communications and are interested in transitioning, please contact us at [email protected].

4. How will this effect my employees?
The biggest impact to your employees will be the ease of use and convenience they will gain with Benefits Advisor. Features like mobile enrollment, employee self-service, automated reminders and alerts will enhance the benefits experience making things easier on you and your employees.

While all great improvements, we understand that you will need to communicate and train your employees on the changes. Don’t worry we have you covered! Once you have picked your transition date, we will provide communicate templates, documented user journeys and training materials that can be shared with your employees. Additionally, we will be available to answer any questions for you and your team along the way.

5. Will my prior plan history be loaded into the new system?
No. During the transition process, we will only be bringing over the current plan year information. But don’t worry! You will still have access to your benefit reports in the Perform system. This will allow you to query and pull history information should you need it.

6. What resources will be available to help train my team?
Paycor will provide all the training you and your team need, including self-directed training with guides, user journeys, videos, checklists and templates you can use to communicate with your employees.
