What leadership changes will take place? Will these changes be effective immediately?
Two executives from Paycor are joining the Paychex executive leadership team. Effective immediately, Adam Ante, former Chief Financial Officer at Paycor, leads the Paycor business unit, and Ryan Bergstrom, former Chief Product and Technology Officer, becomes Chief Product Officer of Paychex. Both report to John Gibson, Paychex president and CEO and join the Paychex Executive Committee. Former Paycor CEO Raul Villar is serving as a strategic advisor to John Gibson to ensure a smooth transition and long-term growth.
Will Paycor HQ remain in Cincinnati?
Cincinnati will remain Paycor’s primary location as the city becomes a strategic corporate location for Paychex. The company expects to grow and give back to Cincinnati like it does in the other strategic locations where Paychex has a presence today. As part of our growth plans, we are focused on expanding our footprint in Cincinnati with an emphasis on sales and service positions to meet the evolving needs of customers and the market. We also recognize the importance of being an active and responsible corporate citizen. What is the timeline for Paycor clients to be linked in Paychex Flex®? Will accountants who use the Paychex Accountant HQ be able to view mutual Paycor clients in the AHQ portal?
Paycor will continue operating as a standalone business unit of Paychex, Inc. The acquisition unifies two open platforms, each purpose-built for distinct market segments. Like SurePayroll today, Paycor will complement and expand Paychex’s current technology capabilities to serve customers of all sizes and across all segments.
While there will be no changes today, we have dedicated teams working on identifying the best opportunities for technology integrations and investments, including AHQ. As always, our goal is to help businesses solve their most pressing HR challenges while helping our partners drive the most value for their clients and customers.
I’m a CPA and have a custom integration with Paycor. Will Paychex still support the integration?
The product solutions that are in place today will remain.
Will we retain both of our dedicated support people, Paychex and Paycor? If a change were to occur, would we be covered by Paychex reps or Paycor reps?
Your day-to-day experience won’t change. You can stay on your current platform and maintain your existing service team relationships. Moving forward, we will continue to share updates and work with you to identify opportunities to improve the partner experience for both Paychex and Paycor channel partners.
How will my revenue share work if I refer a client from Paycor to Paychex, or vice versa? What if I have an exclusive relationship with Paychex or Paycor?
Both Paychex and Paycor have loyalty programs with incentives for driving business. For now, those will remain in place, and we will honor all commitments to partners. That means no change to your current or pending agreements or processes, regardless of how you refer. We always encourage you to do what’s best for you and your customers, and your role in getting them to the best solution has never been more important.
