Paycor, providing companies with intuitive, cloud-based onboarding, HR, payroll and timekeeping software, today announced that it has been named to Training magazine's annual Training Top 125 list, which ranks companies' excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs.

"One of our guiding principles at Paycor is to improve both personally and professionally. To support this effort, we provide our associates with challenging opportunities that will help their experience and skills grow so that they can continue to deliver exceptional products that help our clients succeed. We are thrilled that our dedication to employee development has been recognized by Training magazine, alongside other top-tier learning organizations like AT&T, Best Buy, Edward Jones and MasterCard," said Karen Crone, chief human resource officer at Paycor.

Paycor, which is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary this year, takes a collective approach to developing its associates, drawing on the experience of experts both inside and outside the company. Its training program includes a self-paced, mixed-media learning program designed to build business acumen among its early-career employees. The award-winning company also provides technical product training for both associates and clients, as well as involves employees in a client service rotational program to ensure a deep understanding of Paycor's key products and services.

"The 2016 Training Top 125 winners have found the recipe for success," noted Training magazine Editor-in-Chief Lorri Freifeld. "They utilize innovative methods to deliver training and engage learners; they link training to the achievement of corporate strategic goals; and, most important, they measure the results. We salute these organizations -- including 28 newcomers to the list -- for their dedication, passion and commitment to training. Clearly, they understand that Training Matters."

For the past 16 years, Training magazine has presented the Training Top 125 award to organizations with the most outstanding and successful learning and development programs in the world. The full rankings of the 125 leading organizations will be announced during a black-tie awards gala on February 15 during the Training 2016 Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fla. The rankings are based on a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.

EEO Compliance: Are You Prepared to File the Updated EEO-1 Report?

The clock is ticking: What employers need to know about the latest EEO-1 reporting requirements Earlier this year, a federal judge in Washington D.C. ruled that employers must collect 2018 pay data (also known as Component 2 data) for employees and submit it to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as part of its 2018 EEO-1 reporting, due by September 30, 2019. This Component 2 data was originally set to begin in 2017 but was stayed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) before the data was collected that year. Since the judge’s decision effectively voided the stay since 2017, the Court gave the EEOC the option to choose to collect 2017 and 2018 or 2018 and 2019 pay data. On May 1, 2019, the EEOC announced their decision to...

Paycor Wraps Up 4th Annual Holiday Market

This month, Paycor hosted its 4th annual Holiday Market. Employees, from around Cincinnati, were invited to HQ for an afternoon of shopping, raffle prizes and tasty treats. The initiative for hosting the Holiday Market is simple. Our employees work hard year-round, and during the holiday season we feel as if we should reward their efforts. Not only is the event supposed to give associates a break during their busy day but it encourages departments to spend time with one another. In addition, we live to support our clients and love that we get a chance to showcase a handful of amazing people and local businesses. Some of the clients and local vendors included: City Scape Tiles The Candle Lab Bling Favorites Cincy Shirts Bengals Pro Shop...

We’re Thankful for Our Employees

We’re Thankful for Our Employees

During the holidays, families are overwhelmed with parties, travel plans and activities. And our Paycor associates are no exception. With all the craziness that goes on during Thanksgiving, people should be focused on spending time with family and friends, not worrying about expenses. Well, that’s what Paycor’s founder and CEO, Bob Coughlin, believes. This initiative is close to Bob’s heart and for more than 25 years he’s been handing out turkeys for employees to enjoy with their families. This year, through Bob’s support, nearly 900 turkeys were given to associates. From the top down our organization truly is inspired to do the right thing and support one another. He didn’t forget about our remote employees, our temps and contractors or...
