For example, Gallup reports that employees who are engaged in their day-to-day jobs are more likely to improve customer relationships, with a resulting 20% increase in sales.

Fortunately, there's a lot an organization can do to shape the overall employee experience and increase the likeliehood that most, if not all, of your employees find their place, get the right kinds of motivation, and stay engaged over their hopefully long and successful careers.
